Tallahassee, FL – In the wake of yesterday’s afternoon’s shooting at Hot Yoga Tallahassee, which left a Florida State University professor and student dead and several others injured, The Campaign to Keep Guns off Campus issued the following statement:

“We are shocked and saddened by the news last night of the horrific shooting at the Hot Yoga studio last night that claimed the lives of two Florida State University members: Dr. Nancy Van Vessem and a student, Maura Binkley, as well as injuring several others.  The Campaign maintains its flagship chapter at Florida State University and this latest incident hits home for us and the community in which we work.  We grieve with our beloved Tallahassee community and along with our partners there and across the state, we promise to honor you with action.”
